First MCW for 2020: Bacolod

The following update was written by Cecille Ferrer for the recently conducted MCW in Bacolod. The workshop was held last January 17-18, 2020 at Colegio San Agustin Bacolod. It co-facilitated by Cecille Ferrer and Fr. Tito Soquino.

Editor’s Note: In this update, Cecille shows us that no matter how small a crowd we have for an MCW, the result is always the same – a dynamic workshop! The MCW is about harnessing the power of the collective intelligence in our journey to birth the new. And this collective intelligence is present, whenever and wherever people are gathered.

Whenever I see MCW sessions with a small number of participants, I remember the following verse: “For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.” Surely, the participants, and facilitators too, have experienced a presence guiding and inspiring them during this important work.

Videos from Day 1

Creativity at its finest, as the participants shared their most creative moments through art, poetry and improvised dramatization, allowing the audience to participate in their quantum experience.

You made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in You

And then there were 4 who carried on their spiritual combat as Teacher Mhel called it. Mhel, Justine, Rodel and Dianne came up with a beautiful poster logo, drawn by Justine, that embodied their imagined and actual collective initiatives: Dianne visualises a support group for people who are depressed, Rodel already has an action plan to save Mother Earth thru his 4H club, and the conversion of more souls is the priority of Teacher Mhel who is working on his doctorate in Education. Meanwhile, Justine is creating more awareness for the environment thru her social media platforms.

Thank you for keeping the faith and staying on for the journey of the hero ” in deum” towards God and encountering the imaginal self, the “imago Dei’. This famous passage from St. Augustine’s Confessions “You made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in You” sums up the journey of the hero. ❤️

Special thanks goes to Collegio San Agustine for hosting the MCW and to the co-facilitators Fr. Tito Soqueno and Cecilia, and to Mhel, Justine, Rodel and Dianne for staying the course.
